How To Take Apart A 2015 Chevy Key Fob. Remove the key from the fob start by locating the chrome button at the side and pushing it to slide out the backup ignition key. You will be able to see one spot in particular that has a wider gap then the rest of the keypad. Carefully slide out the current battery, and replace it with a fresh cr2032 button cell battery. Rotate it 2 full revolutions and snap it back on.

Start To Pry Open The Case.
And i have a spare in case buttons stop working in one of the key ones. Gently insert a flathead screwdriver into the small slot on the side of the key fob. Use firm but gentle pressure, and push the screwdriver straight in, no twisting.

Open the fob up using a flat head screwdriver, pry apart the two halves of the fob gently. After two years of use with my '15 sierra key fob the symbols are wearing off and the fob looks in rough shape. Just make sure you press it together hard enough so it clicks (finger pressure should do it).
I Took The Laser Key And Used It In Each One To Program The Fob.
I took another screwdriver and pushed sideways to get it to pop out. Next, take a #0 philips screwdriver or similar (a round item actually works much better than a flat head) and push it into one of the holes identified in the photo.
